Fox television is trying to take advantage of their coverage of NASCAR [since 2001] by putting into development a potential series called “Victory Lane”.
The intended series will be a soap opera-style drama built around the car racing world – specifically with a story line that will follow a fictional racing family and the inevitable family rivalries along with what happens when two star drivers fall in love – and take out their battles on the track.
No date has yet been set for when “Victory Lane” might get to the starting line – but a pilot episode in 2018 may be plausible.
