The trailer for IFC Films’ “Framing John DeLorean” [release date – June 7, 2019] has dropped. The film stars Alec Baldwin as DeLorean, and uses archival footage in recounting the controversial life of the automaker, tracing his meteoric rise through the ranks of General Motors, his obsessive quest to build a sports car that would conquer the world, and his shocking fall from grace on charges of cocaine trafficking. DeLorean died 14 years ago from a stroke.
