After hemorrhaging Grand Prix races left and right from the 2018 racing calendar in recent weeks, Formula One announced that there will be a new addition to the calendar for that year – the French Grand Prix.
The 2018 French Grand Prix will be held at Circuit Paul Ricard, located in the south of France near Marseilles. Circuit Paul Richard has been primarily a tire testing track for Pirelli and has hosted 14 grands prix but has not been used as a Formula One racing venue since 1990.
