Tractor racing – specifically, Porsche tractor racing – will be coming to the Laguna Seca Raceway this weekend when a pair of announced Porsche tractor races will be held at the Rennsport Reunion VI.
The races will feature both the old-school Porsche tractors and a traditional Le Mans-style start as well as the extra-added challenge of figuring out how to start the tractors.
While the race begins at Laguna Seca’s official start/finish line, it will finish at Turn 5 to avoid going through Laguna Seca’s famed Corkscrew and is expected to last approximately 15 minutes.
The first race will take place at 1:15 p.m. [Pacific] on September 29, 2018, followed by the second race at 1:40 p.m. [Pacific] on September 30, 2018.
