GoDaddy Leaving NASCAR, But Not Danica Patrick

GoDaddy announced that they will be leaving NASCAR as a primary sponsor but will keep driver Danica Patrick in a personal services contract. GoDaddy will be severing their sponsor relationship with Stewart-Haas racing but will be expecting to sign driver Patrick to a lucrative personal services contract. GoDaddy becomes the latest high profile sponsor to leave NASCAR, joining Home Depot, Nationwide and Sprint [which will leave at the conclusion of the 2016 season].

Patrick – who has six career Top 10 finishes in NASCAR races – first signed with GoDaddy in 2007 when she was an Indy car driver.
