Haas has tossed aside Mexican driver Esteban Gutierrez and replaced him with Danish driver Kevin Magnussen for the 2017 Formula One racing season. Magnussen is currently driving for Renault and will reportedly sign a two-year contract with Haas to join Romain Grosjean on their 2017 roster.
The 24-year-old Magnussen, 24, spent this season with Renault after two previous seasons with McLaren – but currently sits in 16th place in the driver standings with seven points – with his best 2016 finish coming at the inaugural Russian Grand prix this year when he finished seventh.
