Haas, the American-based Formula One team that will debut in the 2016 season, waited until the eve of the 2015 Mexican Grand Prix to officially announce that they will make Mexican native Esteban Gutierrez their second driver behind Romain Grosjean.
Gutierrez, currently a test driver for Ferrari, last raced in Formula One during the 2014 season where he finished 20th for Sauber.
The 2015 Formula One season continues with the Mexican Grand Prix at Mexico City at 11 a.m. [PDT] on NBCSN on November 1, 2015.
