Haas Will Make F1 Debut In 2016

With the 2015 Formula One racing season edging closer and closer, Gene Haas, the owner of the American F1 team has decided that he will not have adequate time to begin racing next year and will, instead, shoot for a debut in 2016. With the current racing season in full swing, Haas has found it difficult to get F1 technical support lined up in time for preparation for the 2015 season. With most technical support workers based in Europe, further complicating matters is Haas’ decision to base his team in the USA [in North Carolina].

Haas has yet to indicate who his engine supplier or drivers might be but has admitted to be “leaning toward Ferrari” for the engine components in two years.
