After going fastest in the third and final practice session earlier in the day, six-time defending Formula One world champion of Mercedes obliterated the rest of the field by claiming pole position for tomorrow’s 2020 Belgian Grand Prix by a massive half-second over his Mercedes teammate, Valtteri Bottas, in the qualifying session. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was third.
