Hamilton Claims Pole Position For 2020 Portuguese Grand Prix

Defending six-time world Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton watched and waited as his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas had the fastest times in all three practice sessions leading up to today’s qualifying session – then promptly took pole position for tomorrow’s 2020 Portuguese Grand Prix. Bottas was a close second as Mercedes once again closed out the front row.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc will start the race in the second row while Racing Point’s Sergio Perez and Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate Alexander Albon make up the third row.
