After a brief respite in the third practice session, Mercedes resumed their dominance as seven-time defending Formula One world champion, Lewis Hamilton, claimed the pole position for tomorrow’s 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Hamilton’s accomplishment did not, however, extend to his Mercedes teammate, Valtteri Bottas, who qualified a distant eighth, allowing both Red Bulls of Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen to qualify with the second and third fastest times.
