Hamilton Gets Pole As Mercedes Notches 1-2 For 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix

Water is wet and Mercedes has another 1-2 in Formula One as Lewis Hamilton claimed the pole position for tomorrow’s 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix.

The defending world champion Hamilton beat his Mercedes teammate, Valtteri Bottas, by nearly two-tenths of a second to capture his 90th pole position of his career and seventh at this track. After that ground-breaking news, the also-ran list consisted of a glot of four cars – Racing Point’s Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez along with Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc – who will undoubtedly be fighting for third place tomorrow along with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who qualified seventh.
