Hamlin Tears ACL Again

Normally, an athlete suffering a torn ACL in the knee means that athlete will be out of action for awhile – even up to a year – but when the injury happens to a NASCAR driver, it only means a few missed driver meetings. Such is the case for NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin who suffered the injury while playing basketball but will not miss any races and will get surgery on the knee after the season concludes later this year. Hamlin tore the ACL on his right knee this time after having already torn the ACL on his left knee back in 2010.

Hamlin currently sits eighth in the 2015 NASCAR driver standings.
