Kit car makers, Harrington’s, have unveiled a scaled-down versions of some of the classic Formula One cars – such as a 1965 Lotus – to add to their usual array of scaled down cars. Harrington’s created a 2/3 scale version of four classic Formula One cars. The classic Formula One cars will be unlike karts or other kit cars as they will have their own suspension, disc brakes and a 120cc engine capable of speeds nearing 80 miles per hour.
The scaled down classic Formula One cars retail for $10,995 apiece while many of the other cars in Harrington’s collection also retail between the $10,000-$15,000 range.
