Home Depot is expected to end their primary NASCAR sponsorship duties and will cease their co-sponsorship with Joe Gibbs Racing, who owns the #20 car driven by Matt Kenseth. Home Depot had been a co-sponsor of that car along with Dollar General but Dollar General is now expected to take on a more expansive sponsorship role once Home Depot departs at the end of the racing season.
Home Depot had originally signed on as a primary sponsor for NASCAR racing in 1999.
