Honda Expected To Get Engine Development Exemption From FIA For 2015 F1 Season

When rule changes were announced last month, Honda was the only 2015 engine-producing team not to be allowed to take advantage of an engine development loophole for the 2015 Formula One racing season. But that may change as the FIA, the governing body of the sport, is considering a change to the rules that will allow Honda to also develop their engines during the season as the rest of the teams will do rather than be forced to have one engine design due at the end of February as the rules currently state. It is expected that the FIA will grant Honda the same loophole concession as enjoyed by the other teams in 2015.

The first race of the 2015 Formula One racing season takes place in Melbourne, Australia on March 15, 2015.
