Today is National Video Games Day and to recognize that, Honda has concocted a brief ode to their cars that have appeared over the years in a variety of video games.
Honda’s video features 15 Honda vehicles starting with the 1996 Civic behind the start line and ending with the 2018 Honda Civic Type R – with other Hondas along the way including the 2002 S2000, 1991 Prelude, 1997 Civic and 2006 Baja Ridgeline.
Honda will also be providing their social followers with a chance to modify their own Honda vehicles through the use of four video game-themed, customizable giphy sticker packs with Sci-Fi, Medieval, Fighting Game Character and Zombie Survivalist themes.
Earlier in the year, Honda had announced a partnership with Riot Games and League of Legends Championship Series [specifically with four-time LCS champion Team Liquid], and streaming platform Twitch – and are major sponsors of 2019 TwitchCon in San Diego on September 27-29, 2019.
