Honda MotoGP Replica Bike In The Works

If you have a MotoGP heart and mind but neither the talent or money to pull it off on the professional circuit then Honda has a bile for you – or, more accurately – will have a bike for you in a couple years. That’s when Honda will be releasing a replica bike of their RC213V MotoGP bike that Marc Marquez used to become world champion. The as-yet-unnamed [or unreleased-named] bike will be a 81mm bore, 48.5mm stroke, 1000-cc monster that will essentially be a street legal-modified race bike without the fancy-schmancy gearbox or the professional racer to operate it. The bike will have Marchesini wheels, Brembo brakes, weigh near 350 pounds, produce close to 235 horsepower and cost – well, a lot – but that has not been released either, but you are probably looking somewhere close to $100k.

What the new Honda MotoGP bike might look like in 2016.

The unnamed Honda MotoGP replica bike is expected to become available in 2016.
