Honda Offers Civic Type R To Support College Fund

Honda is collaborating with online fundraising platform Omaze to offer a 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition – but not just any 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition – the first 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition to become available in the USA [and carrying the plate numeral 001].

Donations are not required to enter the contest, but funds received will go to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund which supports 47 public Historically Black Colleges and Universities, medical schools, and law schools.

In addition to the car, the winner will receive a driving experience on the track with Honda IndyCar driver Colton Herta.

The contest runs through February 18, 2021, and can be accessed via the Omaze website at omaze.com/CivicTypeR.

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund is currently running a COVID-19 Emergency Fund, which provides support for students in areas such as technology, mental health, housing, and food insecurity.

Only 600 of the 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition models are currently planned for the USA market.
