Honda is promoting their 73-year automotive history with a fond look back at some of the iconic vehicles they have produced over that time span, including the very first product – the 1949 Dream D-Type motorcycle, created by Soichiro Honda – as well as the S600 sports car, the company’s first passenger car.
Also included are the 1973 Honda Civic – popular during the fuel crisis at the time – and Honda’s successful RA272 Formula One race car – the first Honda-powered F1 car to win an F1 race in 1965 – and the successful Honda-powered rally car and even the HondaJet Elite S: the fastest, farthest and highest-flying aircraft in its class.
