British broadcaster ITV and a pair of digital networks – Hulu and Netflix – are currently involved in a tussle to land the former “Top Gear” presenting trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May to create a new “Top Gear”-like show with the three. Netflix and ITV are currently considered to be the frontrunners with Netflix reportedly offering a multi-year deal for a potential show.
Longtime “Top Gear” producer Andy Wilman is said to be included with the trio for all potential deals.
