Icy Bridge Diving In Minnesota
The first lesson is driving over bridges in icy conditions is to slow down. You would think people in Minnesota might know this by now – but apparently it’s so cold there that it takes a little longer for the information to reach the brain – about as long as it takes a 2010 Ford Ranger pickup to plummet off a highway overpass onto a frozen lake 50 feet below. That might be the clincher.
Here’s the surveillance video from the Minnesota State Patrol to convince any still straddling a frozen fence – the 54-year-old female driver survived with no serious injuries.
