Actor Idris Elba [“Luther” and “Pacific Rim”] opens his new cocktail bar in London today. The exclusive 60-seat bar is named The Parrot, and one of the perks enjoyed by potential patrons will be chauffeur-driven arrivals in Aston Martin Lagondas.
That is a result of an exclusive partnership with the luxury car maker Aston Martin. The Parrot will be the first bar in London to offer its own chauffeur-driven car, and the branded Aston Martin will transport guests to and from the venue in style – fully stocked with menus for pre-ordering food and drinks, naturally.
The Parrot opens today in the Palm Court at London’s Waldorf Hilton.
Elba’s bar will be run in partnership with twins Lee and Nicky Caulfield [with Lee being a former Hollywood agent].
