An IndyCar race is expected to be announced for Boston in 2016 – replacing the Baltimore race abandoned in 2013. Since the loss of the Baltimore race, there has been no East Coast venue for IndyCar racing in the United States.
The 2016 Boston IndyCar race is expected to held over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
