James Hinchcliffe became the latest driver to crash his car during practice for the 2015 Indianapolis 500 when a push rod failure sent him careening into the wall at Turn Three of the famed racetrack. In what has become the Indicrashapolis 500 this year, this is the fourth crash in the last six practice days, along with a fire erupting on another car on another day.
Unfortunately, unlike his other crash club members, Hinchcliffe was not as lucky as the others and was sent to the hospital for surgery for a thigh injury.
