The Japanese Grand Prix will continue to be held at Suzuka through the 2024 Formula One racing season according to an announcement from Formula 1.

The last race was held in 2019 – with Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas winning that – but last year’s race was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and this year’s race was postponed until October 10, 2021, also due to the ongoing pandemic.

The Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka was first staged as an F1 race in 1987.
