BBC and Jeremy Clarkson are being sued by Oisin Tymon, the former producer of BBC’s top-rated motoring show, “Top Gear” where Clarkson was employed as a presenter before he famously became engaged in a “fracas” with Tymon over a catering issue on the show and was ultimately fired.
Tymon is now suing both the company and Clarkson for what are being termed “racial” slurs that Clarkson spewed at Tymon in the incident, namely, calling Tymon “a lazy Irish c**t”. Although both men are white males, in the UK, those from Ireland are considered to be a different “race”.
