Jimmie Johnson crashed out of one of the qualifiers for this weekend’s Daytona 500 and took first row-sitter and notable good sport Matt Kenseth with him. Kenseth will now have to use a backup car in the big race this weekend and as a penalty for using a backup car, will have to start from the back of the field.
Last year, Kenseth was suspended for intentionally causing fellow racer Joey Logano to crash in a race late in the series in what was retaliation for a crash in an earlier race that he felt was caused by Logano.
