The racing car that Ferrari specifically built for Formula One legend Juan Manual Fangio is being put on the auction block. The car in question – a 1956 Ferrari 290 MM – was built for Fangio and he drove it in the Italy’s famed endurance race, the Mille Miglia, in 1956, where he finished fourth with it.
The 1956 290 MM is expected to fetch a price in the neighborhood of $28 million when it goes on the Sotheby’s auction block in New York on December 10, 2015.
