Jules Bianchi Moved Back To France

Former Marussia Formula One race car driver Jules Bianchi has been moved back to his native France. Bianchi had been in an induced coma at a Japanese hospital since crashing into a recovery tractor at the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka last month.

However, Bianchi’s condition had improved slightly, enough to allow him to breathe on his own and be transported to a French hospital in Nice to be closer to his family and friends.

Although Bianchi had improved enough to breathe on his own and be transported, he remains in an unconscious state and is unlikely to regain consciousness after suffering a traumatic brain injury [known medically as a diffuse axonal injury] from the collision.
