Kamui Kobayashi Leads Cadillac To Victory At Rolex 24 At Daytona

Former Formula One race car driver Kamui Kobayashi led Cadillac a victory at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona endurance race. Kobayashi won by more than a minute over the Mazda of Oliver Jarvis and the Mustang Sampling Cadillac of Loic Duvall in third.

Joining Kobayashi in the victory were co-drivers, Regner van der Zande, Scott Dixon and Ryan Briscoe.

In the LMP2 class, it was the Dragonspeed ORECA led by Ben Hanley winning by two laps over Mathiasen Motorsports in second and Era Motorsport in third.

Dragonspeed’s winning team consisted of Hanley, Colin Braun, Harrison Newey and Henrik Hedman.

In the GT LeMans class, it was a tightly contested battle between the BMW and Porsche teams with BMW coming out on top for the second year in a row, with Jesse Krohn, John Edwards, Augusto Farfus and Chaz Mostert behind the wheel.

In the GT Daytona class, it was Andrea Caldarelli in a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 taking the top spot. Caldarelli’s co-drivers included Bryan Sellers, Corey Lewis and Madison Snow.
