The Los Angeles Lakers NBA basketball team were represented at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona this week as Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar purchased a 1948 Packard convertible for $66,000 on Thursday that he said reminded him of his youth while Kobe Bryant sold his 1963 customized lowrider Chevrolet Impala on Friday for $53,900.
The Barrett-Jackson Auction runs through January 20, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
