Are you that stupid? Considering the bad luck Gordon has had the last few
    years, he’s been a top 5 / 10 driver week in and out. I guess Kenseth isn’t
that good of a driver considering he’s the same age and has 4 wins this
year. Dale Sr wasn’t running back of the back, neither was Rusty Wallace,
nor Bill Elliot when they were in top rides and in their mid 40s. Gordon
was also trying to make sure to get a good points day as well as win. Maybe
YOU should look up some more history.

When that caution came out wiyh kasey with a 7.6 second lead I thought
nascar was gonna screw him over like jimmie in the 1st pocono race where
    cauions kept coming out

This race say it all. When it’s a full race guess what? Jeff Gordon lost the
race.Jeff Gordon is not that good of a driver anymore. According to history
by the next 2 years Jeff Gordon will be running back of the field a lot
    more.

I was completely frustrated after that. Gordon had a great restart, and
Kahne got help from Kurt. But it was a good points day for Gordon. No doubt
he’ll win a couple races before this year’s over. Go 24!!!!!

I loved this race. My driver won and JJ along with Danica wrecked. It
doesn’t get much better than that!

Im a huge Gordon fan! But congrats to kase….that was 1 hell of a drive in
the final laps. He def earned it. Congrats to Jeff for a much needed 2nd.
Im stoked about next week at Watkins Glen where he is phenomenal!

Only a short battle, I thought it would be the closest finish this season
    thanks to the misleading title…

Glad Gordon got a 2nd place finish but it disappoints me that he gave up
the win. While Kasey had the car to beat all race long, Jeff had the
opportunity to win until Matt Kenseth screwed up. I also felt that Jeff
could have won if he restarted on the outside lane as opposed to the
inside. I’m not expecting much from Jeff at Watkins Glen, one of his worst
race tracks as of late. Wouldn’t be surprised if he finished top 10,
    however.

Either way, Jeff Gordon is higher up in the chase. I was hoping he would
win, but great points day for him. And honestly, Johnson wrecked, always a
    great day when that happens.
