Kenseth Appeal Is Denied

The National Motorsports Appeals Panel has rejected an appeal by NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth, who has been suspended for the next two races in the organization’s playoff series, The Chase, after intentionally wrecking fellow driver, Joey Logano, in a retaliatory maneuver during last weekend’s race at Martinsville.

In a last ditch move, Kenseth has asked for a final decision from the National Motorsports final appeals officer, that ruling is expected later today, but is not expected to change the appeal rejection.

NASCAR suspended Kenseth for the two races as well as placing him on six months of probation.
