The first Chase race in the NASCAR Sprint series went to Brad Keselowski at the Chicagoland Speedway. Kevin Harvick led most of the laps but it was Keselowski who took the checkered flag in the 16-car battle. Keselowski edged out Jeff Gordon, Kyle Larson and Harvick for the win and the top 12 finishers now move on to the second race in the Chase series.
Race #2 in the Chase series will be the Sylvania 300 at The New Hampshire Motor Speedway on September 21, 2014.
