Kevin Magnussen Fastest On Day Two In Bahrain

A rare sight in 2014 – the RB10 on the track with no troubles.

On the second day of the season’s second Formula One testing session, three drivers posted sub-1:37 lap times on the Sakhir track in Bahrain, but Danish rookie Kevin Magnussen, driving for McLaren, went well beyond that, driving a 1:34.9 lap to easily distance himself from the next driver, Nico Hulkenberg, the Day One fastest driver, who put in a 1:36.4 lap. For the first time in this year testing sessions, there were no significant difficulties for three-time defending champion Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull team as Vettel ran 58 laps for a best lap time of a slow 1:40.3.

The 2014 Formula One racing season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on March 16, 2014.
