Kia Motors America has re-launched their Great Unknowns Scholarship program for 2020 and is accepting applications for the second year of the program. Kia’s Great Unknowns Scholarship program is open to students in the USA who are planning to pursue a college undergraduate degree in the sciences, technology, engineering, arts or mathematics.
Kia’s Great Unknowns Scholarship was originally introduced in 2019 but has been renewed for 2020 as part of an effort to help people cope with the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak by providing positive goals for the future.
Recipients will be chosen based on academic performance and demonstrable ways they make a positive impact within their local communities. More information can be found at https://www.kia.com/us/en/give-it-everything. The students selected will be notified in mid-June 2020.
Kia – like other carmakers – is offering special financing as well as assistance for customers affected by COVID-19, with a payment deferral program they have called “Accelerate the Good”.
