Kia unveiled a Robo Dog in a 15-second teaser of their upcoming Super Bowl advertisement which will spotlight the new, all-electric Kia EV6. In the full version, Kia’s lonely robotic dog embarks on a journey to find its true companion – with some musical help via Bonnie Tyler’s ultra-syrupy “Total Eclipse of the Heart” song from 1983.
As part of the ad, Kia has also collaborated with pet adoption charity Petfinder Foundation to help shelter animals find their forever homes.
