Lance Stroll Fastest In FP2 For 2020 British Grand Prix

Racing Point’s Lance Stroll was the fastest in the second practice session for this weekend’s 2020 British Grand Prix.

Everybody was on the soft tire except for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Stroll nipped Red Bull’s Alexander Albon – who also crashed in the session.

Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton were third and fifth, respectively, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in between them in fourth.

Racing Point’s substitute driver Nico Hulkenberg – sitting in for Sergio Perez, who tested positive for Covid-19 and will miss the race – was seventh.

The 30-year-old Mexican says he is asymptomatic but is forced to self-isolate and may also miss next weekend’s 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, back at Silverstone.
