Land Rover Collabs With Newest James Bond Film

Land Rover is continuing their 38-year collaboration with the 25th and newest entry in the long-running James Bond feature film franchise by creating a Defender V8 Bond Edition to celebrate “No Time To Die” – currently scheduled to be released on October 8, 2021.

Only 300 of the Land Rover V8 Bond Edition vehicles will be produced and they are modeled after the Defender SUV, which appears in the film and includes the Extended Black Pack with 22-inch Gloss Black wheels and Xenon Blue front brake calipers.

Additional 007-inspired design touches include a “Defender 007” rear badge, a 007 puddle lamp, illuminated tread plates and exclusive touchscreen start-up animation on the Pivi Pro infotainment2 system.

The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is being made available from $114,600 and is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged engine, which produces 518 hp, 461 lb-ft of torque and drives through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Land Rover claims the Defender V8 Bond Edition accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 149 mph.
