Las Vegas Approves Formula One Usage To 2032

Formula One has been given permission to hold the Las Vegas Grand Prix until 2032 after the Clark County Commission passed a motion securing the event’s long-term future.

The inaugural 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix is currently scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, along portions of the city’s iconic Strip and is the first of a three-year deal signed with Liberty Media, the owner of Formula One.

The Clark County Commission’s ruling also granted waivers that included the use of Las Vegas Boulevard South on “Wednesday through Sunday, the week prior to the Thanksgiving holiday in November in the years 2023 through 2032”.

The 3.8-mile (6.2-kilometer) circuit will take the F1 cars by many of the city’s most iconic casinos and sites – including Caesars Palace, the Bellagio fountains, Mandalay Bay and the MSG Sphere – during a rare F1 Saturday night race.
