Leclerc Claims Pole Position And Ferrari Has Front Row For 2019 Belgian Grand Prix

Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel went one-two in qualifying for the 2019 Belgian Grand Prix as Leclerc claimed the pole position and Ferrari secured the front row for the race start tomorrow morning at Spa-Francorchamps.

It is the third pole position for Leclerc – after winning pole at Bahrain and Austria.

Lewis Hamilton rebounded from a heavy crash in the third and final practice session to salvage the third starting position – but he is nearly a full second behind Leclerc. Hamilton is joined in the second row by his teammate Valtteri Bottas.

The only other driver with a realistic chance at being the race winner tomorrow – Red Bull’s Max Verstappen – sits in the fifth spot in the third row, but more than a full second behind Leclerc.
