Lincoln unveiled their Star Concept electric SUV vehicle this week – as Lincoln says they expect more than half of their global volume to be all-electric vehicles by 2050.
The Lincoln Star Concept will not be built as an exact replica of the concept depicted in the video but its various features will be incorporated into Lincoln’s future electric vehicles. These include connected technologies and a next-generation Lincoln Intelligence System which provides three moods using scent, sight and sound.
The first mood mode is Coastal Morning, which uses oceanic sounds, a fragrance of sea mist and dynamic lighting to replicate a stroll on the beach at sunrise. The second mood mode – Mindful Vitality – is meant to re-energize with invigorating audio, soft lighting and a flowery fragrance. The third mood mode – Evening Chill – develops a dusk-like setting, using a calming night soundtrack coordinated with night sky video and an evergreen and amber fragrance. The three moods are built around the body’s natural circadian rhythm of morning, day and evening.
