Lotus had a good week at the second testing session for the 2015 Formula One season in Barcelona last week as their drivers took the fastest times on three of the four testing days with Romain Grosjean taking the honors on the final day of testing. Grosjean recorded a 1:24 lap time followed by Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg at 1:24.3 and Daniil Kvyat at 1:24.9 for the top three fastest times on the final day.
The day, however, was marred by a crash of McLaren’s Fernando Alonso as the former world champion hit the wall and was taken to the hospital with a concussion.
The first race of the 2015 Formula One racing season takes place in Melbourne, Australia on March 15, 2015.
