Lotus has had many, assorted problems not only this year but also in previous years but despite the litany of problems, they have always kept their eye on the prize – winning an actual Formula One race – which is why they decided to jump a semi-truck over one of their F1 cars. Realizing that they have virtually no chance of winning the season finale in Abu Dhabi this weekend – especially with top driver Romain Grosjean relegated to the back of th epack with a penalty – Lotus decided a better use of their dwindling money supply would be to use it to try and set a world record by jumping one of their team semi-trucks over one of their cars while they still have enough money to actually spend it on irrelevant stunts…
