Marussia Hit By Virus In Bahrain

You may have been keeping track of last week’s second testing session of the 2014 Formula One racing season in Bahrain and wondering what happened to Marussia. That was very close to the same thing Marussia was thinking as a Trojan virus hit their computer system and succeeded in knocking out the team for the first day of testing and effectively setting them back for the remaining three days at the Sakhir track.

Once they fixed the Trojan virus issue on Day One, Marussia got some track time but an engine issue and assorted minor problems reduced their track time in the next three days and Marussia amassed only 29 laps in four days of testing – the least of any of the F1 teams.
