Red Bull’s Max Verstappen will be on pole position for tonight’s 2023 Australian Grand Prix after a drama-filled qualifying session saw his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez crash out in the first session.
Verstappen will have the Mercedes duo – seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton and George Russell – with him as Russell sits alongside him on the first row and Hamilton right behind them as Mercedes produced a pair of surprising results.
