Max Verstappen Claims Pole Position For 2023 Dutch Grand Prix

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen survived a pair of red flags and a challenge from McLaren’s Lando Norris to claim pole position for tomorrow’s 2023 Dutch Grand Prix.

Q1 of the qualifying session saw a surprise effort from Williams’ Alexander Albon topping the grid and Albon will start fourth in tomorrow’s race.

Q2 saw another surprise with seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton exiting after a Mercedes miscalculation of timing for his lap allowed others to barely pass him in the waning seconds of the session.

Q3 saw two red flags – one for repair of the barriers on a corner and another for Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who crashed out of the session with four minutes remaining.
