In a move surprising nobody, Max Verstappen has re-signed with Red Bull through the 2023 Formula One racing season.
The 22-year-old Dutchman was promoted from Red Bull’s junior team – Toro Rosso – in the 2016 F1 season and went on to become the youngest winner in F1 history when he won the Spanish Grand Prix as an 18-year-old later that year.
Last year, Verstappen finished a distant third in the F1 driver’s championship race behind Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
