In what is essentially a trial run before his 2015 debut as a full-time driver for the Toro Rosso team, soon-to-be 17-year-old teenager Max Verstappen will replace Jean-Eric Vergne as the practice driver for Toro Rosso for the Friday session prior to the 2104 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka. Verstappen’s practice run will officially make him the youngest driver to ever participate in a Grand Prix weekend.
The 2014 Japanese Grand Prix will be held on October 5, 2014 at Suzuka in Japan.
